A WLED‑powered light ring for your doorbell – visual notifications from Home Assistant

Using a Home Assistant automation, I turn this light on whenever my Reolink doorbell is pressed. This way, I can see when someone rings the doorbell even when it’s late and the chime is turned off, when I’m in the back garden and can’t hear it very well, or in other situations where sound alone isn’t enough.

In my case i used the STARGATE - Fancy Led Lamp from Thingiverse, but basically any lamp wil do.
